Since beginning the fundamentals program 1 ½ years ago, I have seen great changes in my daughter. My initial goal when enrolling her in gymnastics was to become healthier and stonger. She has achieved these goals and displays a positive and healthy self-image, which is so important for our young girls today. What I had not expected was the change in her academics and behavior. At the beginning of 2^nd grade she was at a Kindergarten reading level with little self confidence. 5 months into the fundamentals program both her teacher and I noticed changes in her concentration levels, applying herself, taking an interest and accepting ownership for her learning. She even displayed improved social interactions with her peers. I watched most practices and I know that these changes are due to the staff at Fundamentals. Their interactions with each child are positive, and the supportive environment goes far beyond expectations from a gymnastic coach. Thank you, Fundamentals Staff, for making such a positive impact on her life. (By the way 1 year later, she is reading at a 5^th grade level and on the honor roll!)
